All the essentials you will need for bringing home baby

INFANT CAR SEAT…They will not let you bring baby home without it.  Make sure your car seat is professionally installed. Never use hand-me-downs because you do not know if they have ever been in an accident thus losing their effectiveness.

DIAPERS…Stock up! Newborns can easily go through up to 20 diapers a day.

DIAPER CHANGING SUPPLIES…Creams and washcloths and a pump top thermos of warm water. Wipes with any alcohol are not usually recommended for infants under 6 weeks old.

CLOTH DIAPERS…Disposable may be handy while traveling, but it is imperative that you try cloth diapers while at home!  They also make great drool bibs, burp cloths, or changing pads.

BLANKET SLEEPERS…These make diaper changes at 4:30 am a breeze! Just unzip, change, zip up, and cuddle.  They are considered safer than blankets when putting baby to bed.

BABY SLING…Keeping baby close, while keeping your hands free.

BOUNCER SEAT & SWING…A safe haven for baby while you cook, shower, or clean.

STROLLER...Travel in style and comfort. Newborns are safest in their car seat, so find a stroller that accepts a car seat base or has a fully reclining seat.

CAR SUNSHADE…Protect baby’s sensitive eyes from the rays by attaching a car shade to the window nearest baby’s seat.

NAIL CLIPPERS & NASAL ASPIRATOR…Believe it…you will have to clip those teeny tiny finger and toe nails, so be prepared with clippers designed especially with baby in mind.  Make sure you also have a nasal aspirator for those dreaded little boogies!  We like having boogie wipes on hand, check out boogiewipes.com.
